Late Shri Neki Ram Gupta was born in the year 1909 in village Patti Kalyana (Haryana). After completing his school and college education, Shri Gupta joined the Indian Railways. He took active part in the freedom struggle and its there, he felt the need to be associated with economic journalism. He started with commercial journalism and later the National News Service was given shape. National News Service (NNS) was founded in the year 1950 by late Shri Neki Ram Gupta.
